Katy Advocates for Teachers & Youth PAC (KATY PAC) is an independent political action committee committed to keeping the focus of local public education where it belongs: on our classrooms, our educators, and our students.
Public education is the foundation of our community. When our schools are strong, transparent, and focused on core academic achievement, all of Katy thrives. KATY PAC provides parents, educators, and taxpayers with clear information and advocates for leadership that prioritizes classroom success over administrative bureaucracy.

Experienced educators are the single most important factor in student success. We advocate for competitive compensation, affordable health benefit designs, manageable administrative workloads, and genuine classroom discipline support so Katy ISD retains its top talent.
Fiscal Responsibility
With a budget exceeding one billion dollars, Katy ISD taxpayers deserve complete transparency. Every dollar spent on administrative overhead or unexamined vendor contracts is a dollar taken away from instruction. We advocate for rigorous, independent audits of district contracts.
Student-Centered Academics
Classrooms should be grounded in high academic rigor, foundational literacy, STEM competencies, and real-world Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. We support practical policies that protect early-grade class sizes and ensure all students have the tools to excel.
